Add Video Voice Over AI to Chrome, Edge, or Brave

The Chrome Web Store listing is coming soon. Until then, sideload the extension in under a minute. You do not need an account to dub your first YouTube video.

  1. Step 1

    Get the extension

    Download the latest Video Voice Over AI build. You will have an “extension” folder on your computer.

  2. Step 2

    Open your browser’s extensions page

    In Chrome or Brave paste chrome://extensions into the address bar. In Edge paste edge://extensions. Then turn on Developer mode.

  3. Step 3

    Load unpacked

    Click “Load unpacked” and select the extension folder. Video Voice Over AI appears in your toolbar.

  4. Step 4

    Open a YouTube video and hit DUB

    The DUB button shows up in the YouTube player bar. Pick a language and listen — no account needed to start.

Edge and Brave notes

Brave uses the same chrome://extensions page as Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge uses edge://extensions — turn on Developer mode in the left sidebar, then Load unpacked. After that, the DUB button behaves the same on YouTube in all three browsers.

If the DUB button does not appear

  • Refresh the YouTube tab after loading the extension.
  • Confirm the extension is enabled on chrome://extensions.
  • Open a watch page (youtube.com/watch), not the YouTube homepage.
  • Pin Video Voice Over AI from the puzzle-piece menu so you can reach settings quickly.
